Muddy Run Raceway is home to all kinds of mud racing. Beginning in 1990, families from all across Pennsylvania and surrounding states pack up their cars and head out to Smoke Run for a day of muddy splashing and crashing. Our races include classes for ATV's, cars, 4x4 street trucks and professional trucks. In one afternoon, spectators can see trucks racing side-by-side through a 1/2 mile obstacle course, junk cars smashing each other in the Good Ol' Boys, ATV riders pushing thru the muck and trucks of all kinds struggling up the hill climb. We also hold events at other locations for drag racing and variety in the obstacle course. WHEN IT COMES TO MUD, WE HAVE IT ALL!!!

We also have it all on this website. On the other pages there's almost everything that a mud-racing fan would want to know about Muddy Run Raceway and how we operate. The schedule of racing events keeps changing, so it's best to stop there and see if we have been able to add any events. There are directions so you can find us, rules for our racing events and class specs to define where every vehicle can compete. Some of our points racers are featured on the drivers' profiles page with awesome pictures that show them at their best. The official newsletter page is updated with details for upcoming events, issues that have been brought to our attention and general info. Race results and points rankings are posted as often as possible to let the racers know their status. We also have posted copies of the articles that were run in Peterson's 4-Wheel and Off Road Magazine in 1996. If you can think of anything we're missing, let us know.

Here are a few tips for first-timers that are planning on coming to our events. Children are more than welcome at our events. We have a family-oriented atmosphere. Spectator seating at Muddy Run Raceway is grassy hillside, so bring your own chairs and blankets. There is a concession stand that sells soda, hamburgers, pizza and the like. Bottles and cans of your preferred beverage are welcome, but we ask that you keep your behavior under control and the garbage cleaned up.

NO PETS are allowed at the events held at Muddy Run Raceway or at the events that we have in other locations.

Overnight camping is available at Muddy Run Raceway the night before a race. The cost is $5 per car or other vehicle and $10 for a motor home or anything pulling a trailer or camper. The admission fee for the race the next day will be paid that evening as well. All guests that are not staying the night at the track are required to leave the property by 9:00 pm.  No additional people will be admitted to the property after 9:00 PM the night before a race, so plan accordingly and show up before it starts to get dark.

Every summer we have hold events at different sites around central Pennsylvania including multiple Pennsylvania fairs. We conduct annual events that benefit Make-A-Wish and have raised over $70,000 for Wish Kids in the last eleven years.  We're always looking for new places to hold an event. If you belong to a fire and/or ambulance company or a civic organization that needs to raise money, but you're all tired of the same old raffles and dinners, why not look into what we have to offer. Contact Jay Lewis at the address and phone number at the bottom of the page. Let's see what we can do together.

WE'LL SEE YOU AT THE RACES!

Events at MRR are photographed and recorded for publication or broadcast.
